The pH meter is an instrument used to measure the pH of a solution. The pH is a measurement scale indicating the degree of acidity or alkalinity of a substance, with values between 0 and 14.

The pH meter consists of a pH-sensitive electrode and a measuring device. It is used to determine whether a solution is acidic (pH below 7), neutral (pH equal to 7) or alkaline (pH above 7).
